Ireland's Death Cafe

Never before has there been a greater time to discuss dying and death, given the recent experience of Covid-19. Many of us are very happy to discuss what is a certain inevitablity. However, we also know the challanges in many households where somebody says "that's very morbid, why are you talking about that!", which usually leads to the end of any discussion. 

Our Death Cafe aims to open up the conversation to eveyone willing to face up to their own mortality. Death is as much a part of life as birth is, so let's bring the conversation back into the classrooms, coffee shops and dinner tables around the country. 

Our Death Cafe was established in 2021. Each Death Cafe is run strictly without any agenda, religious, political or social angle. The attendees set the pace of the dicusssion and we facilitate and modetate it.
